Something new can be scary.  We have all been there, we have all had that first day in a new gym doing something we haven’t done before.  Afraid you will struggle, scared to ask questions, afraid people are watching.  Calera CrossFit is different.  If you happen to struggle, we struggle with you.  If you look unsure, someone will help.  Are we watching, yes but it is because we are standing beside you telling you that you are doing great and that you can do it.

We aren’t a typical gym, at Calera CrossFit our coaches are our guides and the members are your family.  Join us for two free introductory classes and experience what it means to be part of a gym family.

Dana has always been an active person. She played volleyball, basketball and tennis in high school. After college she was a coach for Alabama Juniors Volleyball Club and an avid marathon runner.

Dana started her CrossFit journey in 2013 and has been coaching since 2018. Dana has her CF-L2 as well as other continuing education hours of CrossFit courses. These days, when she is not helping clients reach their goals, she enjoys competing in CrossFit competitions and spending time with her husband and three boys.
