Something new can be scary.  We have all been there, we have all had that first day in a new gym doing something we haven’t done before.  Afraid you will struggle, scared to ask questions, afraid people are watching.  Calera CrossFit is different.  If you happen to struggle, we struggle with you.  If you look unsure, someone will help.  Are we watching, yes but it is because we are standing beside you telling you that you are doing great and that you can do it.

We aren’t a typical gym, at Calera CrossFit our coaches are our guides and the members are your family.  Join us for two free introductory classes and experience what it means to be part of a gym family.

Dana

Dana has always been an active person. She played volleyball, basketball and tennis in high school. After college she was a coach for Alabama Juniors Volleyball Club and an avid marathon runner.

George has over eighteen years of weightlifting experience and two years of CrossFit experience. When George isn’t working out, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing Xbox with his three boys, and playing golf.

Chris

Chris has been interested and engaged in weightlifting and group exercise training for over 20 years and been a member of the CrossFit community in the area for over 8 years. After spending many years on the road for his IT consulting job and dropping in to CrossFit gyms across the country Chris took advantage of the new work from home reality to get his CF-L1 in August of 2021. Chris enjoys focusing on olympic lifting, strength training and mobility.
